As Field Service Engineer, you are an ambassador of Waters and will bring to the market Waters’ products and services. The candidate will demonstrates a clear grasp of understanding the customers’ business and its growth plans and is able to take that knowledge and convert that into a solution and offering from Waters, with a primary aim of bringing “customer success”.  This position brings a great degree of flexibility working in the field. The role will be designated to either a territory and/or markets. 

Responsibilities

 


  1. Perform multiple clinical support activities, including installation, repair, perform maintenance, customer familiarization training,
    management of spare parts , support service business growth;
    2. Having a comprehensive understanding of clinical customers; (Workflow, TAT, Clinical Laboratory quality management or ISO 15189)
  2. Good communication skills with clinical customers.

4.Drive pre-maintenance plan and reduce equipment failure rate, successfully improve the customers' satisfaction and royalty.

  1. Develop and maintain a good working relationship with KOL and other departments to support the cross-functional projects

6.Implement Service Process and SOP.

7.Other duties as requested



QUALIFICATIONS:

 

1.Strong Business Sense. result oriented, self-motivated.

2.Strong customer service, problem-solving.

3.Excellent communication skills, able to interact positively and effectively with co-workers, cross-function members and global team.

 

Education & Experience Required

 

1.Bachelor’s degree or above in biomedical science, biotechnology, medical laboratory or related majors.

2.Above with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in IVD industry. Familiar with the workflow of clinical customers.

  1. Experience with MS in clinical is preferred and with skill of MS in application is also preferred.
  2. Effective communication skills with people and be able to accept of business trip

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelors/Masters Degree in Chemistry or Biology, engineering or other science related field is desired, will also consider applications with equivalent experience, training and education

Experience:

  • 3 years of experience with installation, performance maintenance, troubleshooting, support and/or end user utilization of scientific instrumentation, preference for previous Waters product suite (LC, LC/MS, HPLC/UPLC, SFC, Informatics)
  • Ability to perform effective system level troubleshooting
  • Understanding of the scientific application workflow along with the scientific software systems (CDS, SDMS, LIM, ELN)

Travel:

  • This is a territory-based position with travelling within your designated territory, and occasional travels to other countries for activities such as governance of department, local business support, meetings and training.
