Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

 

As a Materials Handler IV, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the flawless execution of our supply chain operations.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving and Inspecting Materials: Accurately receive, inspect, and verify all incoming materials to ensure they meet our strict quality standards.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain detailed inventory records, conduct regular audits, and manage stock levels to support efficient operations.
  • Material Distribution: Safely and efficiently distribute materials to various departments within the European Distribution Centre.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to improve productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with team members and other departments to successfully implement logistics strategies and achieve organizational goals.
  • Assistance to Management: Provide support to the Warehouse Supervisor, stepping into their role during their absence to ensure continuity of operations.
  • Alignment: Ensure all activities align with relevant safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

 

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Proven Experience: Experience in materials handling or a related field within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory management systems and warehouse management software.
  • Attention to Detail: Outstanding attention to detail and ability to strictly adhere to procedures.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials as required.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to determine the best solutions for logistical challenges.
  • Demonstrates excellent collaboration skills and a positive, ambitious attitude.

Location: Waters European Distribution Centre: Emmerblok 26, 4751 XE, Oud Gastel, Netherlands.
