This role will apply intermediate accounting knowledge to support financial reporting, reconciliation, and compliance activities. Role will support additional work that will be transitioned to the Corporate Accounting Team.
Assist with the monthly closing process including preparation of journal entries and reconciliations for accrued expenses, prepaid assets, payroll, fringe, and tracking of cash transactions. |
Perform reconciliations and resolve discrepancies across accounts |
Maintaining intercompany accounts and coordinating payments with subsidiaries in accordance with Corporate Treasury policy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial initiatives. |
Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and support internal & external auditors during audit reviews. |
Focused on process improvement and makes recommendations for improving the organization's accounting operations. |
Ensure SOX documentation is up to date and followed for areas of responsibility. |
