Overview

The Logistics & Inventory Coordinator is responsible for supporting day-to-day warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics coordination. This role ensures timely and accurate stock movements, order processing, and system updates in SAP to support field service operations and customer requirements. The position involves hands-on warehouse activities, system transactions, and coordination with internal teams and external vendors. The Logistics & Inventory Coordinator reports directly to the Senior Manager, Distribution & Logistics, ensuring alignment with strategic logistics objectives and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Perform weekly cycle counts and ensure inventory accuracy across warehouse locations
  • Manage inbound and outbound warehouse operations including breakbulk, putaway, picking, packing, and drop orders
  • Convert system-generated purchase requisitions into SAP purchase orders to support stock replenishment
  • Coordinate stock transfers and returns, including scheduling courier pickups and managing miscellaneous movements
  • Handle enquiries from Sales and Field Service Engineers (FSEs) regarding stock availability and shipment status
  • Arrange domestic shipments and update connotes and logistics data in SAP
  • Verify vendor invoices and provide approval to Finance for processing
  • Support local purchases and operational needs through SAP transactions
  • Provide backup support for Malaysia operations, ensuring continuity of logistics and inventory processes

Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma in Business, Logistics Management or related disciplines
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in working with 3PL or Regional Distribution environment
  • Proficiency in SAP and MS office is a must
  • Experience in International Trade is an added advantage
  • Commitment expected during quarter end
  • Dependable and able to work independently
  • Sense of urgency as to objectives and timelines, while maintaining flexibility to shifting priorities
