This role is a key leadership position in Supply Chain and is a member of the Waters Wexford Senior Leadership team with specific responsibility for leading and developing the Supply Chain Planning, Procurement, Trade and Logistic functions while also supporting the strategic development of the site.
The position provides leadership & direction to the Supply Chain team in all aspects of the function(s) providing strategic & tactical direction that secures and sustains supply continuity within applicable good manufacturing practice regulations and compliance to ISO9001 and ISO13485 as applicable. The position is responsible and accountable for applying the Global Supply Chain planning standards to the local execution level. Further, the role will partner with Global Procurement to enhance supplier performance and drive supply assurance into the network. Cost saving initiatives and improvement projects in the areas of freight, material spend, working capital investment and optimized use of the planning system are critical accountabilities for the role.
Education:
Bachelor of Business Studies or equivalent primary degree, APICS/ASCM Certified
Experience:
Minimum 7-10 years Industry work experience in a high volume/complexity ISO 9001, ISO13485 or GMP, Operational Excellence/Lean environment, with at least 3 years at a senior management level.
Strong operational skills and technical skills. Strong SAP expertise.
A proven track record of people management/leadership, project management and Supplier Management is essential. Demonstrated experience of negotiation and cost saving projects required.
Knowledge of customs / trade compliance.

Extensive SAP (ECC & APO) experience essential (S/4 HANA experience highly desirable).
