Overview

Order Operations Specialist to support KAS region (Korea, ANZ and SEA) under the COE model for Field Operations. This position's primary responsibility is to manage all Orders-to-Cash processes covering Waters business in KAS region. The role is based in Seoul, South Korea and reports to Order Operations manager.  

The successful candidate will be capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment, executing daily operational tasks with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders through the full cycle from order entry to invoicing accurately and in accordance with Waters’ guidelines and policies
  • Liaise with relevant internal and external stakeholders to manage and resolve all issues related to order fulfilment, as directed by team leads/manager
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is in place to enable smooth transit from origin to destination without delays and in accordance with customer requirements and trade regulations
  • Coordinate with the Distribution centers and Global Operations (GO) on supply chain and demand planning matters — including SAP ordering processes and DC collaboration — to ensure operational efficiency between distribution centers and customers
  • Closely monitor backlogs to expedite on-time deliveries and prevent past dues
  • Provide post-sales support including warranty claim, returns, replacements, and related customer requests
  • Participate in process improvement activities to streamline work process and enhance efficiency
  • Engage in global and regional projects as assigned
  • Manage customer inquiries and follow up on orders, payments, and other service-related matters to ensure closure and customer satisfaction.
  • Perform back-up / standby duties as needed to ensure smooth daily order operations to support business growth

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in commercial/business management, logistics discipline or other discipline with minimum of 5years’ working experience in Customer Service, order management, or logistics
  • Flexibility to support multiple countries across different time zones
  • Experience in a multi-national company preferred
  • Fluent in Korean & English and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), with knowledge of financial and ERP systems (e.g. SAP, AO, Salesforce)
