Overview

The position requires strong collaboration, financial acumen, willingness to challenge the status quo, communication, sense of urgency, ability to execute, leadership, and change management skills as well as experience driving business priorities. This position is responsible for analyzing financial data, creating financial models, and preparing reports to help businesses make informed decisions. Key responsibilities involve reporting, reviewing, analysing, budgeting, forecasting, assessing risk and presenting findings to management or clients. A bachelor's degree in finance or a related field, along with skills in software like SAP, S4, Excel is typically required. 

Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial data: Review financial data and trends to understand the business financial health and identify key performance drivers. 
  • Budgeting and forecasting: Help create and manage budgets, monitor spending, and create forecasts for future financial performance. 
  • Financial modelling: Build models to forecast outcomes, evaluate investment opportunities, and project future financial trends. 
  • Reporting: Assemble and summarize data into detailed and easy-to-understand reports and presentations for management, stakeholders, or clients. 
  • Strategic recommendations: Provide data-driven recommendations on financing strategies, cost reduction, and other financial decisions to support strategic planning. 
  • Collaboration: Work with cross functional teams to support the business with required analysis.

Qualifications

  • Education: Typically requires a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field with a minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in relevant profile. 
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling software is essential. Experience with SAP systems and data analysis tools like SQL or Tableau is also valuable. 
  • Analytical skills: Must be able to analyze large sets of data, identify trends, and translate complex financial information into clear insights. 
  • Communication skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are crucial for preparing reports and presenting findings to various audiences, including senior management.
