Overview

As part of Waters Korea’s Future Talent Internship Program, the Application Chemist Intern will join the regional operations team. This is a full-time, two-year internship program designed to develop the next generation of Waters’ Application Chemists.

Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end technical support (pre-sales and post-sales) under guidance and mentoring
  • Conduct laboratory experiments aligned with the latest industry trends in scientific analysis
  • Collaborate with the sales team to deliver instrument demonstrations, applications, and solution presentations to customers
  • Learn how to address customer inquiries and provide solutions that enable their business growth

    Upon successful completion of the program, interns may be considered for conversion into an Associate Application Chemist role.

Qualifications

  • Academic background: Master’s or PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Biology, or related disciplines
  • Strong communication & presentation skills: Ability to understand customer needs and explain solutions clearly
  • Passion for technology & problem-solving: Willingness to dive deep into instruments, proactively address challenges, and build expertise
