Overview

This position is a key role within the Corporate Finance team, with responsibility for statutory accounting and tax compliance across several legal entities. The successful candidate will be a key contributor in designing and improving processes as the company evolves, and will lead initiatives that drive operational efficiency and financial accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Month-End Close: Control the month-end accounting close process for the Irish operating entity.
  • Audit & Internal Controls: Ensure internal control compliance and handle audits across a group of companies.
  • Tax Compliance: Oversee tax compliance activities in collaboration with the global tax team.
  • Financial Reporting: Lead the production of financial statements for multiple legal entities, including the preparation of local consolidated accounts.
  • Project Leadership: Participate in and lead cross-functional projects as required.
  • People Management: This role may evolve to include people management responsibilities.

Qualifications

Education: A fully qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA) or equivalent (ACCA/CPA) is preferred for this role. Holding a tax qualification like AITI could be extremely beneficial in fulfilling the requirements of this role. 

 

Experience: The candidate should be a qualified accountant with 5+ years of post-qualification experience.  Multinational experience within a manufacturing setting would be a distinct advantage. SAP experience would be desirable.
