Overview

We have a great opportunity for an Inside Sales Specialist to join the team in France. As a member of this team you will be armed with the Waters Instruments portfolio then tasked with developing sales leads into well qualified opportunities, and to deliver incremental after-market revenue. Effective customer relationship skills, commercial acumen and the ability to effectively negotiate and are crucial to succeeding in this role. You will be accountable for a defined sales territory within France with clear goals and a great deal of flexibility in how you approach this task.

Responsibilities

  • Meeting financial growth targets relating to instrument sales
  • Lead qualification for incoming Leads to develop new business and expanding existing business opportunities for the Field sales team;
  • Working with marketing to develop and deliver messaging to promote product offerings
  • Quote handling for module based sales;
  • Organisation of Inhouse/ On-site Seminars with Field Sales Account Managers to promote solutions and products;
  • Work closely with your field sales colleagues, capital sales colleagues, business development and marketing to deliver a high degree of customer service.

Qualifications

Education:

    • Science related background and education would be beneficial

Experience:

    • Advantageous to have experience working in a laboratory with liquid chromatography and/or Mass Spectrometry machines
    • Advantageous to have experience within technical sales.
    • Commercially focused with previous experience in solution selling would be an advantage

Competencies:

    • Fluent in French, Technical English 
    • Highly passionate individual with perseverance, and determination, plus the ability to work effectively in competitive sales situations.
    • Proven skills in remote sales, from establishing contact and building rapport, to managing complex sales with multiple stakeholders using remote means.
    • Customer focused with good level of active listening skills.
    • Exceptional organisational skills.
    • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Solid team player with high degree of self-motivation
