To Design, develop and maintain software as part of an agile delivery team in Nugensis in the Informatics, in Waters GCC.
Responsibilities:
Role specific:
1. Contribute to the development and maintenance of all aspects of the applications and services owned by
the relevant cloud team (App or platform)
2. Complete detailed designs and development of stories as directed by the technical lead to a high-quality
standard
3. Collaborate with stakeholders, Product Owners and Technical Leads on software and technical issues.
4. Collaborate within and across teams to improve working practices and skill levels
5. Act as a mentor to junior team members.
6. Demonstrate significant judgement in technical matters and act on solutions under own guidance.
7. Provide code and supporting documentation in accordance with our Software Development Processes and
codes of practice.
Individual
1. Complete Quality System related actions in a timely manner according to procedures
2. Adhere to Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications/Education required:
1. Bachelor’s degree or higher (or equivalent) in science, computing engineering subjects.
Experience required:
8. Min 5 years of experience in an environment developing innovative customer solutions
9. Extensive knowledge and proven experience as a software developer, with exposure to elements of our
back-end technology stack (C#, .NET)
10. Strong experience working within a Cloud software engineering environment, especially using Amazon
Web Services
11. Proven experience completing detailed designs and development of stories – preferably using TDD.
12. Good experience developing microservices and APIs
Desirable: · Continuous delivery, with pipelines implemented in Kubernetes, Docker · Experience using GitHub and GitHub Actions · Behaviour Driven Development (BDD), with Gherkin & SpecFlow · Atlassian Jira, Confluence & JFrog Artifactory · Software security best practices and implementation (e.g. OWASP, PKI, X509 Certificates, TLS) · Software development for regulated environments (e.g. 21CFR11)
