Overview

The Principal Finance Controller is responsible for managing statutory reporting, tax compliance, and financial governance for assigned LATAM legal entities. This role requires strong technical accounting expertise, hands-on controllership experience, and effective collaboration with auditors, tax advisors, shared service organizations, and regional stakeholders in a multinational environment. The role also drives integration of acquired entities into company processes and ensures compliance with local statutory, tax, and VAT requirements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance controllership, statutory reporting, or audit.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting LATAM entities in a multinational organization
  • Experience with SAP, Blackline, Excel (advanced), and MS Office.
  • Prior exposure to month-end closing, statutory reporting, and tax compliance processes.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish and Portuguese.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Approximately 25% travel 
  • BS in Accounting
