As Sr Informatics Sales Development Specialist, this role will focus on sales supporting and marketing activities implementation. You will be required to team work with cross-functional departments such as Marketing, Service, Sales, ect. to boost Waters business in local territories. Your knowledge in technology and working experience in analytical chemistry lab are strongly expected to make Waters Customer Success. This position would cover the (China) region. 

Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities. Take ownership of both pre-sales support of informatics products.
  • Manage the entire lead lifecycle, from initial Pre-sales to order and handoff to the services team.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure qualified leads and alignment on customer opportunities.
  • Working in a self-supervisory role to set and establish the direction of Projects.
  • To ensure that the projects have routine risk management and mitigation in place in order to ensure that project goals are achieved.
  • To act as an information conduit between the project core teams, programs and Senior Management.  
  • To provide periodic updates, as needed, to Senior Management summarizing project status based on evaluating key project metrics.
  • Assisting and mentoring others by sharing knowledge and learning
  • Responsible for the system implementation of informatics products, work closely with project team to ensure the smooth project deliver

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree, Masters, or PhD in scientific area such as chemistry, biology, or biochemistry,BS/BA in computer science , Master's degree preferred

Experience:

  • At least 2 years working experience in drug quality testing, bioanalysisdrug development laboratory.
  • Familiar with various general, chromatographic, mass spectrometry, spectral instruments and software
  • Experience in LIMS/ELN/SDMS/ Empower is preferred
  • Project management skills preferred

  • Basic knowledge in CDS, Oracle DB, VM, CitrixC# preferred
