Overview

Waters are building a new Inside Sales team focused on finding new customers and winning business in highly competitive markets.

In this role, you will work closely with inside sales and field sales professionals. Together, you will use the Waters consumables portfolio to create awareness, build trust, and grow business in developing and emerging accounts.


Your mission is to:

  • Discover and approach new companies that do not yet know Waters
  • Open doors in very competitive customer environments
  • Build strong relationships and create customer preference for Waters
  • Drive growth and increase market share in your region

You will be responsible for a clearly defined sales territory with clear targets and expectations, giving you ownership of your success and opportunities to grow.

Responsibilities

  • Find and approach new customer companies in your territory, and create a clear plan to introduce them to the Waters consumables portfolio
  • Re‑activate inactive (dormant) accounts and help bring business growth back to these customers
  • Prepare high‑quality quotes and tenders, paying strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Use the CRM system correctly and consistently, making sure all customer information and activities are complete and up to date
  • Work closely with field sales, capital sales, business development, and marketing teams to ensure excellent customer support and strong technical expertise
  • Travel occasionally within your territory, and internationally when needed, mainly for training and development purposes

Qualifications

Education:

  • University Degree or equivalent in a Science Related Field

Experience:

  • Experience in technical or scientific sales is an advantage, especially if you have worked with chemistry consumables
  • This role is well suited for a sales professional who prefers limited travel and enjoys building customer relationships remotely

Competencies:

  • Fluent in English, Polish and German.
  • Based in Poland, ideally within reasonable commuting distance of the Warsaw office, and open to regular in‑office presence, enabling close collaboration with the wider team
  • A motivated and enthusiastic sales professional, with persistence and the ability to stay focused in competitive sales environments
  • Strong experience in remote sales, including making first contact, building trust with customers, and managing complex sales processes with several decision‑makers using online and digital tools
  • Customer‑focused mindset, with good active listening and communication skills
  • Very well organised, able to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively
  • Good analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to understand customer needs and find solutions
  • A strong team player who is also self‑motivated and able to work independently
