As Principal Pre-Sales Application, this role will focus on sales supporting and marketing activities implementation. You will be required to team work with cross-functional departments such as Marketing, Service, Sales, ect. to boost Waters business in local territories. Your knowledge in technology and working experience in analytical chemistry lab are strongly expected to make Waters Customer Success. This position would cover the whole China region. 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the pre-sales application team supporting clinical diagnostics, public security/forensic; own team delivery and capability.
  • Provide senior technical solution design, product demos, and bid support for key customers across clinical, forensic, and ICL segments.
  • Develop application proposals and technical materials for LC-MS/MS testing in clinical IVD, forensic toxicology, drug abuse analysis, and third-party lab workflows.
  • Provide internal training for sales team primarily regarding new product introductions, and new clinical research methods, and should be prepared to participate in user and customer training events. 
  • Integrate the Marketing and Sales tools to promote the products and solutions.
  • Visit and communicate with KOL customers about our solution, based on the keen understanding of the customers
  • Be in-house expert and work with sales and channel members to promote and support Waters solution to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Build relationships across the company and with customers; formulates strategy with CBU team managers.
  • Routinely produces scientific content and marketing collateral and publishes peer-reviewed articles.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Master's degree or above in Analytical Chemistry, Food & Environment, Chemical Materials, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field, familiar with clinical LCMS and metabonomic and TCM research.

Experience:

  • 10+ years LC-MS experience.
  • UPLC, HRMS, field pre-sales and/or marketing experience is a plus

  • Sound communication and strong customer-facing presentation, solution design, and pre-sales support skills
  • Highly organized / well-prepared / time management skills
  • Strong interactive skills and a good listener
  • Matured disposition, positive attitude and strong sense of commitment
  • Adaptive to a dynamic and ever-changing environment
  • Strong technical background in analytical technologies, especially LC and MS
  • Proficient English listening and speaking skills
