Overview

Role: APAC Advanced Diagnostics Clinical LCMS Inside Sales and Marketing Operations Specialist

Preferred Location: India

Coverage: APAC; approximately 60% lead management and 40% event preparation and support.

Contract: 12 months contract

Responsibilities

Lead Qualification and Opportunity Development

  • Own inbound instrument and consumables lead response, qualification, and early-stage opportunity development for the Clinical LCMS Segment and assigned APAC geographic area.
  • Qualify customer needs, support account setup in CRM, and collaborate with Field Sales, Marketing, Applications, and Service to drive conversion and customer success.
  • Ensure leads are uploaded promptly to CRM after events and provide Marketing with feedback on lead quality and conversion outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure high data quality.
  • Conduct outbound calling and targeted outreach to build pipeline within assigned accounts and segments.
  • Develop baseline product and application knowledge and engage specialists for complex technical discussions when needed.
  • Use and create CRM and Power BI reports to track KPIs against targets and support continuous improvement.

 

Event Support (Digital and On-Site)

  • Work closely with the APAC ADx Clinical LCMS Segment Marketing Manager to support regional marketing initiatives.
  • Liaise with distributors, agents, and conference organizers to execute Waters marketing events and third-party conferences and scientific meetings in India and across APAC.
  • Support APAC webinars and other digital engagement activities.
  • Prepare marketing materials for events and campaigns.
  • Provide on-site event support, including logistics and lead capture.
  • Manage post-event lead entry and follow-up coordination in CRM.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree required; a background in science, clinical disciplines, or engineering is preferred (for example, biochemistry, medicine, chemistry, physics, or engineering).

Master’s degree (for example, M.Sc. or MBA) preferred. Experience with Waters or competitor preferred.

Experience:

2 years+ Experience in inside sales, sales support, or scientific instrumentation is preferred.

Competencies:

Team player with strong phone and written communication skills; highly organized, data-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities. Proficiency with Waters Business Systems, CRM systems and Microsoft Office is required. Fluency in English is required in addition to fluency in Hindi.

Travel:

Travel as needed.
