The Principal Developer – CPQ will be a key member of the CPQ Engineering team within the IT organization, responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting software solutions on the SAP CPQ platform.
The role is primarily focused on custom software development and engineering, with approximately 75% of the role involving software development activities and approximately 25% involving SAP CPQ configuration and implementation.
The role will develop and enhance capabilities that enable Waters' global Sales and Service teams to quote and sell more efficiently, while supporting business process improvements and contributing to margin and revenue growth.
As an experienced software developer with strong SAP CPQ expertise, the individual will work closely with software engineers, architects, business analysts, functional consultants, quality teams, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and high-quality software solutions.
The role requires strong hands-on development experience using IronPython, JavaScript, Knockout JS, HTML, CSS, and related technologies, together with a solid understanding of SAP CPQ capabilities and configuration.
The individual will follow software engineering and SAP CPQ best practices, Waters architecture standards, and Agile delivery methodologies, while contributing to continuous improvement of the CPQ platform.
