Overview

The Senior Test Engineer is responsible for leading test engineering activities that support manufacturing quality, production readiness, and continuous improvement. This role ensures test processes, equipment, and documentation are robust, compliant, and scalable for operational needs in China, while partnering with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve manufacturing performance.

Responsibilities

The Senior Test Engineer shall assist the Operations department in providing technical test support to contract manufacturers and suppliers handling Analytical Science (liquid chromatography and Mass spectrometry); Material Science (Thermal Analysis and Rheometery). The role covers technical troubleshooting, in depth test calibration and tuning for mass spectrometry products as well as developing software enhancement for instrument level and sub assembly testing in support of APAC Operations.

Qualifications

  • Act as local SME for liquid chromatography, mass spectrometry and material science product testing in China.
  • Focal person for test troubleshooting and troubleshooting guide compilation for APAC Mfg.
  • Perform (or arrange) maintenance schedules for test fixtures and equipment used in the manufacturing supply chain
  • To provide training suppliers in the testing of LC, MS and TA products.
  • To provide technical support to suppliers in the diagnosis of tester faults
  • To investigate to root cause, failures that are attributed to the manufacturing process.
  • Help enhance test software/debug for final and sub-assemblies testing
