Overview

Waters Corporation is currently leading a search for a Director of Sales Operations to join our company.  In this newly created position, the Director of Sales Operations will create and execute a Sales Operations business plan for Field Sales with the close collaboration of our Marketing, Finance and Business Systems teams.

 

The Director of Sales Operations must be a highly motivated, results oriented Sales Operations Manager with the proven ability to manage projects, provide analytics to motivate sales reps and managers within an organization. 

Responsibilities

  • Define, develop and implement processes and tools that will allow our field sales team to achieve their targets. Specific focus areas on Sales Efficiency, Sales Assessment and Sales Training.
  • Provide analytics for Field Sales and Management in the areas of Customer Relationship Management and Data Integrity; Reporting Tools to measure Key Performance Indicators of the Field Sale force, optimization of Lead Generation and Management programs and assist in and make recommendations in Incentive Planning
  • Make recommendations to processes in areas such as platforms for CRM, field sales reporting and system pricing strategies.
  • Streamlines business processes including maximizing business systems in use and measuring ROI, assessing future needs for sales information, as well as improving forecasting and pipeline management.
  • Ensure systems and resulting information is useful and effective for the sales team and management. Communicate Best Practices across the Americas Field Sales and Management teams.
  • Oversight of Fleet Management will also be part of the responsibility.

Qualifications

  • BS/Masters; MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 5+ years Commercial Operations experience, with Sales Management knowledge
  • Strong technical background in business analytics, preferably with experience in providing support for sales organization selling capital equipment as well as service and aftermarket products.
  • Ability to turn data insights into sales strategy
  • Ability to execute strategy within a matrixed environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent organization / planning / time management skills
  • Good listening and strong interpersonal skills with proven track record of managing by influence
  • Adaptive to dynamic and changing environment
  • Must have an ability to pro-actively identify and resolve problems and maximize the efficiency of a sales organization.
