    We are seeking a committed and talented individual to drive, develop and sustain Waters’ Food business in Southern Europe. Leading field sales development activities, this individual will be a key to our success in this market for Waters full portfolio of technologies, products, solutions and services.

Something especially interesting with this role is the opportunity to proactively collaborate with many teams in European Field Operations, WW marketing and product management.




    • Drive business growth and achieve the Southern European food sales target in close collaboration with field teams
    • Design and implement Southern European marketing plan, in alignment with corporate strategy, to increase market awareness, ensure customer engagement and generate high quality sales leads
    • Assist with sales opportunities and provide technical sales advice; creating collateral and sales tools for field sales as necessary and developing business within strategic accounts
    • Develop network and establish sustained collaboration with key opinion leaders, regulatory laboratories and leading academics
    • Prioritize, organize and deliver internal training for field sales teams
    • Provide business analysis and market intelligence covering key market dynamics, major business opportunities & challenges and competitive trends to the senior management teams



    The successful candidate is likely to have the following:

    • BSc degree in Chemistry or a related science as a minimum

    • Deep knowledge of food testing market and related applications and legislations

    • Strong technical background and experience of LC and LC/MS technology

    • Experience in a customer-facing role in LC/MS (e.g. LC/MS sales, demonstrations, business development or marketing)

    • Results driven, self motivating, accountable with leadership and initiative

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    • A good team player and collaborator

    • Prioritization, planning and organization skills

    • Rapid learner and willing to work in new markets

    • Spoken and written fluency in English; an additional European language, particularly French, Italian or Spanish, would be a plus

    • For a candidate based in St-Quentin-en-Yvelines (Paris area), a willingness to travel on average 50% of her/ his time. For other locations, travel requirements would be greater
