Overview

Based in Sydney, this is an individual contributor role that will be responsible for achieving high level of customer satisfaction primarily in the field of Waters solutions.

 

The incumbent will be responsible for Installing and maintaining systems including liquid chromatography and Mass Spectrometry systems. This role requires approximately 20% travel throughout Australia and New Zealand and must demonstrate a strong focus on customer satisfaction as well as excellent technical and troubleshooting skills.  As a member of the Waters Global Service organization, the incumbent will gain fruitful insights into this international service portfolio of a dynamic organization.

Responsibilities

  • Perform system Installation, maintenance and support of customer solutions on a range of Waters products ( LC, LC MS, HPLC/ UPLC, SFC, Informatics)
  • Deliver system level training at customer sites
  • Manage customer expectations and lead efforts to resolve open customer calls in the most appropriate and in a time sensitive manner
  • Manage service inventory according to Waters policies
  • Maintain "CIT" database on a daily basis to document work performed
  • Maintain sound knowledge regarding the technology and customers' application demands
  • Strong Ethics and Integrity
  • Work with Sales team in respect to  leads and any issues which would impact customer satisfaction or customer loyalty
  • Ensure that quality system procedures and Health & Safety standards are adhered to at all times

Qualifications

  • Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic / Electrical Engineering, Chemistry or a science related field
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar position
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational & problem solving skills
  • Drive for Results, able to work independently, multi-task and prioritize based on business targets
  • Valid Driver's License in good standing is mandatory
