Reporting to the Director of F&E Marketing, this position will be responsible for implementation of the annual marketing plan to meet the business objectives of the global food and environmental (F&E) business. Directing a team of market development managers, they will produce and deliver marketing material to both internal and external global audiences. The team will provide guidance and prioritization of scientific projects and customer collaborations based on market needs and business drivers. 


As part of the F&E Marketing team, you will partner with your peers who are responsible for F&E Strategy & Relationship Management to drive success in the business.  Also, the role works collaboratively with the field marketing teams, scientific operations team and product marketing teams to help drive our position as the world’s leading Specialty Measurement Company.



  • Lead the F&E Marketing team, responsible for implementation of the annual marketing plans
  • Develop and articulate F&E customers’ needs, insights and personas to drive content strategy, value propositions and contribute to the F&E solutions road map.
    • Work closely with marketing communications, product marketing, market segment leaders and scientific operations on content/digital marketing strategy and value propositions.
    • Work closely with marketing communications on F&E messaging.
  • Work closely with Scientific Operations to ensure on time delivery of scientific projects for the development of marketing content for the digital marketing plan and field delivered content.
  • Develop deep understanding of competitor strategies. Provide field with tools/training to combat these strategies in high priority F&E segments with clear direction on how to maintain our competitive leadership.
  • Develop and execute strong marketing plans for F&E
    • Work closely with field marketing and sales management to develop and execute marketing plan. Prioritize focus areas by geography.
  • Serve as the primary contact point for the field for F&E marketing
  • Lead, develop & motivate a team of marketing professionals and influence cross-functional teams across the organization. Performance management, objective setting and individual development plans for the F&E marketing development managers.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.


  • Minimum BS in Technology or Business field. MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years in a management or leadership role. Experience leading marketing teams in a technology domain would be an advantage
  • Strong understanding of the F&E market with broad knowledge of the application areas, business drivers, trends and needs.
  • Proven track record of implementing marketing strategies, and ability to execute plans within a matrix environment
  • Ability to effectively influence at the executive level and within peer group
  • Strong leadership skills required
  • Global management experience preferred
