This is a very interesting career opportunity for an individual who is passionate about sales of liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry consumables in a dynamic and challenging environment. The position’s primary responsibility is to manage key accounts and develop new business for sustainable growth in Singapore. Based in Singapore and serving Singapore market.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities & Authorities:

    • Develop new business by penetrating competitive accounts and exploring new areas of applications and proactively manage accounts within allocated market segment.
    • Maintain client retention levels by strategic relationship building and provide customers with high quality technical advice whilst maintaining focus on maximising sales potential.
    • Partner with the Market Development group to follow up on business leads to ensure objectives are met.
    • Deliver year-on-year business growth by meeting annual targets by promoting and creating awareness on Waters total solutions actively, actively and daily visiting customers and delivering the value of our solutions through technical presentations to selected group of customers.
    • Leverage on Waters business tools for sales activities and to ensure timely updates.

Qualifications

 

 

Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor/Masters in Chemistry or relevant disciplines with 3 to 5 years sales experience working within the Life Sciences industry.
    • Prior experience in LC, LCMS and Consumables, such as LC columns and SPE products, will have an added advantage.
    • Strong customer-orientation with ability in developing and fostering long term effective relationships with customers.
    • Ability to leverage on external and internal resources to resolve issues and meet customers' needs.
    • End users with no prior sales experience but with strong technical knowledge and business acumen will be considered.
