We have approximately 600 employees based on the Waters site in Wilmslow.  The position of IT Helpdesk Administrator is an exciting opportunity to provide level 1 IT support to our PC users  in Wilmslow.  You will be working as part of a small team of dedicated IT support personnel and with over 600 employees based on the site you will need the ability to prioritise work and stay calm under pressure.  


  • Respond to calls to the Wilmslow IT helpdesk by answering the telephone and following up on voicemail messages and emails to the helpdesk.
  • Providing telephone phone based level 1 support to end users by following standard guidance and troubleshooting procedure.
  • Maintaining IT related processes
  • Raising Purchase requests for hardware and software


  • Good all round Administrative skills
  • Intermediate / Advanced computer skills. 
  • Previous work experience with computers, computer related course certifications or a Computer Science degree. 
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task in order to carry out the job effectively.
