We have an excellent opportunity for a Manufacturing or Production Engineer to join our team within Waters, a global leader within the Scientific and Medical Industry.
In this role you will be required to provide best practice manufacturing support to key departments within the company covering Research, Design, NPI, Operations, Product Assurance and Quality departments for MS production. A key function of the role will be the initial production set up and sample verification of parts & assemblies within a worldwide supply chain, using cGMP methodology.
As well as demonstrating technical excellence, you will be an accomplished, innovative, dedicated, enthusiastic individual that pursues challenges head on and is able to work effectively both independently and with other members of the team.

Due to the demographics of the Supply Chain, the role will involve a degree of domestic and foreign travel to offer direction and support, especially during the early design and NPI stages of manufacture.
Strong proven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer with knowledge of multi axis CNC machines & CMM equipment.
The ability to interpret detailed design assembly and piece part component drawings with a thorough knowledge of GD&T.
Strong knowledge of materials and a wide range manufacturing processes associated with component manufacture and system build level production.
Ability to analyse and interpret specification document, technical procedures and relevant professional journals.
The ability & knowledge to cost estimate component parts.
Knowledge & experience of SMED, Lean Manufacturing tools & techniques
ISO13485 & ISO9000 processes and procedures.
Knowledge and ability to design various Jigs, Fixtures, Tools & Gauges to offer an application solution.
Knowledge of analytical tools, Six Sigma and TQM
