Waters Corporation's Professional Services Organization is comprised of highly skilled, motivated and customer focused professionals that partner with customers to ensure successful utilization of Waters’ product suite.  As an Enterprise Deployment Specialist working for an industry leader, you will be committed to delivering Waters’ legendary service to our customers who utilize our scientific instrumentation and software.  In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide (professional and/or technical) expertise on Waters' innovative product suite for multiple customer laboratories spanning across the Pharmaceutical & Life Sciences, Chemical Materials, Clinical, Food, Environmental, Forensics, Academia and Government industries.


An Enterprise Deployment Specialist will provide high level support to customers in the area of infrastructure design and implementation planning for the installation and upgrade of the Waters suite of network based Informatics products.  An Enterprise Deployment Specialist will manager primary support for a designated territory but may be requested to assist in other territories.




  • Implement the installation and upgrade of networked versions of Waters Informatics Software products.
  • The installation, configuration, and support of Oracle databases embedded in Informatics software products.
  • The installation, configuration, and support for Microsoft Active Directory domains and their requisite server infrastructure.
  • Installation and support services for VMware, Citrix, networking, server clustering, Linux and IT security.
  • Post installation maintenance, fault tolerance management, and disaster recovery support services to accounts utilizing Waters Informatics products.
  • Remote support of our customers and internal colleagues on our Waters Informatics products.
  • Mentor customers and Waters personnel on the technologies associated with successful provisioning and maintenance of networked Informatics products.
  • Provide Trainings on our portfolio of networked Informatics products and participate to marketing or commercial events to promote those products.
  • Work and collaborate with other Waters personnel to ensure the efficient completion of customer Informatics projects.
  • Qualification / Validations / Consulting services on networked versions of Waters Informatics Software products.
  • Project Management skills and being compliant with Waters internal processes are key points.
  • Engagement in Customer success and Waters commitments are priorities.


  • BA/BS Degree in Chemistry or a related Life Science degree in addition with Computer Science studies.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in laboratory using analytical instruments and related Informatics software. Knowledge of Empower, Nugenesis SDMS, Unifi is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Some experience with and support of Microsoft operating systems, Computers & Servers technologies, Networks, Oracle, Linux, and VMware.
  • Experience in computerized technologies within regulated pharmaceutical businesses
  • Strong time management, decision making, and problem diagnosis skills
  • Extensive travel is required (70%), includes local and overnight
  • Excellent communication skills and focused in Customer success as well as Waters internal goals and objectives.
