    Overview

    The Advanced MS Technologies group is a new group dedicated to delivering customer benefit in the research market segment through the rapid evaluation, development and deployment of innovative MS capabilities. The key purpose of this role is to support the commercialisation and manufacturing of critical MS products with manufacturing and product planning skills.  The role will be working within a highly entrepreneurial, small team environment where multi-tasking and flexible thinking will be critical. As such, ability to apply skills in other technical disciplines are highly desired. 

    Responsibilities

    • To ensure engineering/development projects progress in a timely fashion within the guidelines set by the requirements and specifications, in accordance with the Manufacturing Plan and the availability of design information.
    • To record and control costs within engineering / development projects.To control and maintain a record of project costs.
    • The administration of manufacturing information held within P-BOM data, including changes to this data.
    • Assist & advise on the administration, review and implementation of engineering change
    • Assist & advise on the administration of the engineering concession/deviation register
    • Maintain planning data and progress ISIF through the system
    • Conform to all the appropriate quality procedures

     

     

    Qualifications

    • HNC/BTec in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years experience working in a similar role or 5 years experience within a product planning/ production engineering role.

    • Excellent communication and decision making skills.

    • Excellent computer skills
