    Waters Corporation is looking for an individual to join the Waters Brazil team to help drive and expand market penetration.  The successful individual will work with Brazilian team to identify prioritized business opportunities, develop appropriate tactical plan and execute the plan to support Waters growth objectives.



    • Act as an interface between Global Marketing, Americas Field Marketing and the local organization to ensure the field organization understands the product and market segment strategies to enable successful translation of the strategy to tactical execution.
    • Successful person will be responsible for developing the pipeline of new business coming in to Waters Brazil. This requires a thorough knowledge of the market, the solutions/services Waters can provide, and of our competitors.  This will require generating new leads and developing future opportunities through a detailed business plan based upon prioritized opportunities. Progress will be reviewed on a regular base and adjusted as needed
    • Focus on developing new customers and maintaining relationships with existing key customers in the prioritized market. Must be able to identify influencers and decision makers within the key markets as identified as primary growth drivers.
    • Support the Brazilian team and by providing sales tools – for seminars, trade shows, scientific conferences, user meetings and webinars, working with field managers, account managers, and product specialists.
    • Utilize the Customer Relationship Management tool to track effectiveness of activities in developing leads.




    • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related science as a minimum requirement; MS or PhD will be a plus.
    • Strong technical background in analytical techniques, such as Mass Spectrometry and Liquid Chromatography.
    • Action oriented with a proven track record of results.
    • Self motivated and strong interpersonal skills; ability to influence others without formal authority, good listener.
    • Organization/planning /time management skills.
    • Communication and presentation skills.
    • Sales and /or application specialist and/or marketing experience in a scientific based business would be considered a plus.
    • Native language Portuguese, fluent in written and verbal English.
    • Position requires 50% travel
