    As Clinical solution support Specialist, you are an ambassador of Waters and will bring to the market Waters’ products and services. The candidate will demonstrates a clear grasp of understanding the customers’ business and its growth plans and is able to take that knowledge and convert that into a solution and offering from Waters, with a primary aim of bringing “customer success”. This is a feild based oppotunity, the prefered location is Germany, other locations will be considered for the ideal candidate. Ready access to a large international airport is essesntial. 

    Responsibilities

    • Focused on Waters clinical diagnostics and forensics customers
    • Delivering high quality, efficient service and support including, systems and applications training, troubleshooting and repair of our portfolio of products.
    • Delivering specialist services for Waters developed solutions, applications and products.
    • When on a customer site through correct diagnostics or observation ensure compliance to relevant legislation surrounding the product and its use;
    • Providing training and guidance to customers to ensure they maintain compliance and enable smooth safe operation of Waters equipment in their laboratories;
    • Building rewarding customer partnerships, liaising as appropriate with the relevant sales account manager for the customer, ensuring key focus on the customer and their needs are met;
    • Effectively handling customer calls, administration and inventory ensuring you optimize your time and delivery against the metrics set within the business;
    • Adhering to Waters and customers relevant Health, Safety and Environment requirements when on site and as an individual employee;
    • Working effectively across the matrix structure of the business
    • Any other additional tasks consummate with the level and scope of the role as deemed by management of Waters.
    • The role would be suited to someone with investigative skills with an enthusiasm for solving problems, using increased diligence and an ability to consider human, environmental and outside factors whilst sustaining customer relationships in sometimes complex circumstances

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • University degree (Laurea) equivalent or higher, consideration will also be given to applicants with extensive relevant experience

    Experience:

    • Successful experience in LC/MS;
    • The ideal candidate would have background in service and / or experience in a clinical laboratory setting;
    • Comfortable to explain the principals and application of chromatography and mass spectrometry;
    • The application of sample pretreatment techniques such as Liquid liquid and solid phase extraction;
    • An understanding of GMP/GLP and relevant ISO requirements;
    • Understanding the principals of IT infrastructure,  PC configuration and troubleshooting;

    Competencies:

    • Highly passionate individual with charisma, perseverance and determination, enjoys personal interaction and relationship building with key customers;
    • Customer focussed with very good listening skills;
    • Ability to understand, interpret and communicate complex technical issues;
    • Good interpersonal skills with a positive sense of humour and is able to contributing as part of an integrated sales/service organisation;
    • Good priority setting and organisational skills;
    • A approach to problem solving;
    • An ability to identify and lead a customer enquiry established whilst on site through to the sales team;
    • Keen mind on continuous development of product/software knowledge;
    • Proficient English, German or multi lingual skills prefered;

    Travel:

    • A clean driving license and a valid passport will be required;
    • This is a European based position, focused regionaly near your location but frequent travel will be requred across Waters European teritories this may occasionaly include Middlle East parts of North Africa and India;
    • Role also includes regular weekly office based activities which can be done from Home or a local Waters office;
    • A disclosure of any criminal convictions may be required as some of our customers work in sensitive and confidential government areas.
