The Biopharmaceutical Product Owner will use their understanding of user needs to plan, prioritize and drive product development of our next generation of biopharmaceutical applications. These applications work with UNIFI - our laboratory informatics platform, designed for use in both regulated and non-regulated environments.
The software we develop is helping scientists all over the world to develop and produce novel biopharmaceutical drugs and biosimilars. By providing easy to use workflows and investigative capabilities, we help scientists get better results, sooner. That can translate to new, life-enhancing drugs.
The Newcastle office is home to a small, experienced development team. We care about making good software that meets customers’ needs. We value team communication and collaboration. We use agile development practices and try to learn from our mistakes. What we don’t have, is a proactive Product Owner leading the product vision and backlog.

Our core working hours are from 10am to 4pm (in a 37 hour week), meaning you can avoid the rush hour. Overlooking the Newcastle quayside, we're also just a couple of minutes' walk from the nearest Metro station and 10 minutes' walk from Central Station, so you might be able to avoid the roads altogether.
Relevant domain experience is essential for this role. Beyond that, we’re looking for good Product Owner qualities; Product Owner experience is optional/preferred.
