Waters Corporation (NYSE: WAT), the world's leading specialty measurement company, has pioneered chromatography, mass spectrometry and thermal analysis innovations serving the life, materials and food sciences for nearly 60 years. With approximately 7,000 employees worldwide, Waters operates directly in 31 countries, including 15 manufacturing facilities, and with products available in more than 100 countries.

Waters Corporation's businesses include Waters, TA Instruments, VICAM, ERA, and Nonlinear Dynamics.

Waters creates business advantages for laboratory-dependent organizations by delivering ultra performance liquid chromatography (UPLC), high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), chromatography columns and chemistry products, mass spectrometry systems, laboratory informatics solutions, and comprehensive service programs to enable significant advancement in healthcare delivery, environmental management, food safety, and water quality.

The Biopharmaceutical Product Owner will use their understanding of user needs to plan, prioritize and drive product development of our next generation of biopharmaceutical applications. These applications work with UNIFI - our laboratory informatics platform, designed for use in both regulated and non-regulated environments.

    What can we offer?

The chance to make a difference

The software we develop is helping scientists all over the world to develop and produce novel biopharmaceutical drugs and biosimilars. By providing easy to use workflows and investigative capabilities, we help scientists get better results, sooner. That can translate to new, life-enhancing drugs.

    The chance to really contribute

The Newcastle office is home to a small, experienced development team. We care about making good software that meets customers’ needs. We value team communication and collaboration. We use agile development practices and try to learn from our mistakes. What we don’t have, is a proactive Product Owner leading the product vision and backlog.

    Big-company benefits; small team attitude

Waters is a large company providing good employee benefits, including a company pension scheme and a healthcare package. Despite being part of such a large company, the Newcastle office operates like a small team. We have a flexible approach to work and maintain a friendly, productive working environment.

    An easy commute

Our core working hours are from 10am to 4pm (in a 37 hour week), meaning you can avoid the rush hour. Overlooking the Newcastle quayside, we're also just a couple of minutes' walk from the nearest Metro station and 10 minutes' walk from Central Station, so you might be able to avoid the roads altogether.
