  • Overview

    The Talent Acquisition Manager, in alignment with the Global Talent Acquisition team, will develop and drive the implementation of our recruitment strategy across Asia Pacific.  He / She will focus on improving our recruiting processes and tools, to ensure the Recruiting teams have what they need to consistently find high quality new hires to support our business growth.  Besides, he / she will be responsible for recruiting mid-to-senior level positions in the region.  He / she will also work closely with Headquarters and take the lead on employer branding activities in the region. 

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute sourcing strategies aimed at generating necessary talent pipeline for active and passive talent requirements
    • Evaluate and further improve current recruitment and selection process and ensure that HR managers and Hiring Managers follow process; serve as subject matter expert for best practices related to recruitment and selection
    • Partner with Business Leaders, Hiring Managers, Recruiters and HR Managers to set, drive and implement strategies to ensure talent supply for Asia
    • Manage end-to-end recruitment process for mid to senior level positions
    • Spearhead training programs to enhance capabilities of Asia organization in talent assessment and evaluation
    • Collaborate with Headquarters and support activities for strategic workforce planning
    • Represent Waters at relevant career fairs, networking events, college fairs, etc.
    • Conduct research on target companies and passive candidates, leveraging tools like LinkedIn, in addition to other resources
    • Responsible for managing vendor contracts & relationships across the region

    Implement KPIs to improve recruiting process; communicate hiring success and produce reports on recruiting metrics

    Qualifications

     

    • Bachelors Degree, within areas of Human Resources, Business, or Psychology
    • Minimum of 5 years full life-cycle recruiting experience either in a corporate or agency environment (preferably with experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, high tech, or medical device industries)
    • Previous staffing, talent acquisition, recruiting experience supporting a multinational company or clients regionally preferred
    • Process improvement experience preferred
    • Broader talent management experience considered a plus
    • Proven ability to understand technical/scientific business requirements
    • Proven expertise in common tools, processes and applications used in full life-cycle recruiting (i.e. ATS systems, social networking, etc.)
    • Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Self starter; capable of prioritizing own work and/or problems simultaneously, able to work in complex and ambiguous environment that is fast changing;
    • Good team player; must have good interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively with managers, associates and personnel at all facilities throughout the company; strong client management mindset.
    • Fluency in English and 1 Asian language, preferably Mandarin
