This position is an exciting opportunity for a Principle Application Scientist who is looking to expand his/her career by applying their technical skills as member of Waters dynamic Sales organization.
The ideal candidate combines excellent scientific skills with strong commercial business acumen, and the desire to contribute to the customers’ success by helping them choose the best system solution from Waters product portfolio to address the customers’ analytical challenges. The Principle Applications Scientist will stand as a technical expert for deeply understanding market environment and further supporting and supervising demo chemist in multiple types of applications (not limited to), Food & Environment, Chemical Materials, Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences with a focus on quadrupole mass and high resolution mass.
This role is required to travel approximately 25% of his/her time.
Master’s degree above in analytical chemistry, Pharmaceutical, biomedical chemistry or related field
Minimum 10 years of work experience in instrumental analysis
Have rich experience in LC, LC-MS, especially in Quadrupole mass and High resolution mass
Strong self-motivated and work independently under stress
Ability to focus on detail while prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously
Good web, Word, and Excel capabilities
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; polish written skills in English
Passionate in learning high-tech science
A team player and self-starter with strong organization skills
