  • Overview

    In this account management sales role, you will be responsible for driving Waters core business - Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry solutions into primarily Pharm , Chemical and Materials, Food accounts in the North of Taiwan Area. You will team with Business development Specialist and Service Engineers, carry quota and be compensated for all LCMSMS product sales in the specified geography. You will be expected to develop and implement successful strategies and tactics to sell Waters instrumentation solutions. You will be part of a dynamic team of sales professionals driving Waters' success in this competitive marketplace.

    Responsibilities

    • Follows up qualified leads from marketing activities and inside sales while also identifying and developing prospects independently.
    • Sets sales strategy for territory with Business Development specialist.
    • Thoroughly qualifies leads, identifies correct solution and coordinates appropriate resources.
    • Works with Business Development Specialists to close sales opportunities.
    • Consistently engage with and maintain customer relationship and customer satisfaction.
    • Provide face-to-face selling presence routinely in customer accounts.
    • Utilize and orchestrate customer facing resources appropriately.
    • Conduct basic product demos and reviews with customers.
    • Look for opportunities to cross-sell other complementary products from Waters.
    • Work with Field Sales Channel on development and implementation of key marketing programs.
    • Utilize SAP CRM and other appropriate tools for effective account management.
    • Work with customers in developing efficient purchasing practices that are beneficial to the customer and to Waters.
    • Identify and cultivate potential opportunities with existing and new buyers within existing and new accounts

    Qualifications

    • 3 to 5 years of experience in Strategic Selling Skills (Executive Selling, Solution Selling)
    • Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Industry and Market Knowledge
    • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills as well as Interpersonal and Presentation Skills
    • Teaming/Collaboration Skills (resource management and team leadership)
    • Minimum a Bachelor Degree in chemistry, bio- or biochemistry or related Sciences.
    • LC-MS knowledge or experience
    • Strong knowledge of analytical laboratory requirements
    • Proven ability to communicate with and influence external and internal stake holders
    • Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
    • Good interpersonal skills
    • Professional leadership skills
    • Application background is plus
    • Good command of both oral and written English
