    The Marketing Communications Specialist Benelux will be charged with assisting the Benelux Sales Manager [system Sales] and Members of the Benelux Management team with the day to day execution of our sales, digital/social  marketing, and customer initiatives. The workload will be a combination of projects coupled with execution of ww marketing campaigns and sales team support. This entry-level position could possibly lead to a sales career for those qualified and proven candidates possibly seeking advancement into a sales position. We are looking for an ambitious,  eager to learn, self-starting individual. This position will require phone skills and an aptitude for heightened attention to detail, as this new position will be highly visible and will require the selected candidate to multi-task on a regular basis.

     

    Responsibilities

    The main responsibilities are focused on lead generation and lead qualification this includes the following activities but not limited to:

     

    • Active Lead Generation, through phone actions and other activities
    • Manage logistics for all Waters Benelux marketing activities, to include trade shows, seminars, and conferences.
    • Maintain Benelux Instagram and Twitter account.
    • Promotion of events using Waters web site, direct mail, and other social media channels.
    • Market and product promotion.
    • Maintain customer relationship database
      • Target list preparation for promotion and sales actions
      • Lead processing and follow up in our CRM system
    • Develop and drive digital and telemarketing projects further with in-house sales teams
    • Back-up for Sales Admin, ehn business requires 

     

    Qualifications

    Education:

    Bachelor level or proven work experience in Marketing , Chemistry or related discipline

    Experience in chromatography is an asset.

     

    Experience:

    Excellent organization, planning and time management skills.

    Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

    Candidates will be highly motivated and drive for results.

    Ability to use own initiative.

    Is personally committed to improving own learning and performance.

     

    Nice to have:

    • IT experience.
    • Experience of creating web content 

      

    Competencies:

    English / Dutch and/or French language skills

    Phone skills                                                                                 

    Pro-active, i can do work attitude

     

    Travel (If Applicable):

    This person must be prepared to travel  to Benelux events . Occasionally overnight stays will be required.
