  • Overview

    An exciting opportunity to join a talented and motivated team of test engineers, working within a LEAN focused New Product Operations group at our state of the art new facility in Wilmslow.

     

    To test and output Waters MS instrumentation and spares in line with the MS Build Plan, with particular emphasis on improvements to the test process.

     

    To mentor test engineers and assist in training them on new products.

    Responsibilities

    • To ensure the on time shipment in accordance with the MS Build Plan of fully compliant Waters MS Instrumentation and MS Spares.
    • To participate and contribute to the development and continuous improvement of working practices and processes within MS Test.
    • To project a flexible, proactive approach coupled with a willingness to work overtime as required, to ensure the output objectives are achieved.
    • To report any issues that will affect timely shipment to the relevant Systems Test Team Leader or deputy and, where authorised, to take the necessary corrective action.
    • Provide technical assistance to Test Engineers with regard to completion of Systems test and complex fault investigation.
    • May be involved in project work for technical issues affecting a particular product from the identification of an issue and remaining as a technical contact through to its resolution.

     

    Qualifications

    A degree in a science / engineering subject or relevant experience.
